SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Where did autumn go? Thanksgiving is only one week away. We asked a gaggle of locals (many in media and restaurant businesses) to share which Thanksgiving dish is their favorite. Our Central New Yorkers volunteered a hearty variety of dishes from spicy New Orleans stuffing to Sicilian cannoli loaded with fresh ricotta. Most responses invoked fond memories tied to mothers in the kitchen, cooking up a hot meal to make the entire house smell delicious.
